Easter Week Blog - 12th Apr 2020
This week residents and staff sampled food from Germany on Taste it Tuesday - Sauerkraut, Bratwurst and lots more which everyone enjoyed. We looked at the map of Germany and talked a little about German culture.
Easter was the main topic and residents decorated Easter bonnets and made Easter cakes and decorated salt dough. The best Easter bonnet won a small prize.(judged by a very discerning panel).
Good Friday - A group of residents attended an in-house Service with the reading and Service supplied by the local Church Villages Group. Easter Sunday was an afternoon spent in the garden enjoying the lovely spring sunshine and eating chocolate Easter eggs. Some residents enjoyed a game of quoits and skittles.
