WEEK 7 BLOG

After the commemorative V.E. Day Celebrations this week has been a much quieter one.

The weather has been mixed whilst dry some days were chillier than others. Residents still managed to enjoy the gardens on a daily basis. Taste it Tuesday afternoon we sampled the delights from Cuba. These included Chivinicos (fried dough) and Torticas ( small round shortcake biscuits) which everyone enjoyed. We talked about the Cuban culture, flag and history.

Weekly crafts included quizzes, artwork and our weekly exercise class with Tony.

Board games and the Wednesday afternoon bingo was enjoyed by all. On ‘Fizzy Friday’ we all enjoyed a glass of Pimms (small glasses for some) and joined in the staff tribute to the 80’s.
