WEEK 9 BLOG

Glorious spring sunshine all week saw lots of outdoor activities, from games, arts and crafts to an afternoon tea. Tuesday we had a taste of Indonesian food including Nasi Goreng, a delicious fried rice and some very tasty satay chicken. This was followed by a quiz and some interesting facts about Indonesian culture and heritage.

Film Afternoon residents were invited to watch a musical, West Side Story and a film from the sixties, Born Free with a discussion after.

Residents held their monthly meeting later in the week over morning coffee. Where discussions were held and future trips out planned for after the current ‘lockdown’ has been lifted.

The week ended with staff and residents singing and dancing to some old traditional songs that everyone knew and loved.
